UW-Stout 1, MSOE 1MILWAUKEE (September 14, 2014) - UW-Stout's
Jenna Kizlik (Jr, Hammond) scored the first goal of the game, but the Milwaukee School of Endginnering tied the score about 10 minutes later and the rest of the game was scoreless as the two teams played to a 1-1 tie Sunday.
Kizlik scored her first goal of the season in the 19th minute of the game, getting an assist by Emma DeRubies (So, Golden Valley, Minn). The Raiders' Natalie Gayner engineered a goal in the 29th minute.
MSOE outshot Stout, 17-10, in regulation. Stout (1-2-2) got off three shots in the first overtime, two on target, and MSOE (3-1-1) got two shots off in the second overtime, neither on target. Stout's
Paige Meyer (Jr, Beldenville) finished with six saves, while MSOE's Sydney Stephens had five saves.
Stout will be at Viterbo University, Wednesday, Sept. 17, then will host UW-Platteville, Saturday, Sept. 20 at 2 p.m. in the conference opener.
