MENOMONIE (August 30, 2014) - The St. Catherine at UW-Stout women's soccer game that was postponed from Friday, Aug. 29 to Saturday, Aug. 30 has been cancelled. A make up date will be determined at a later date.
With lightning strikes off in the distance and not too far away, the UW-Stout soccer home opener with the College of St. Catherine scheduled for Friday, Aug. 29, was cancelled. The game is tentatively rescheduled for Saturday, Aug. 30 at 1 p.m. at Nelson Field,
The game was scheduled to begin at 5 p.m. at Nelson Field, but lightning in the south at approximately 4:45 p.m. delayed the game. Rain would fall and lightning would continue to be sited before the game was officially called at about 6:30 p.m.
