UW-Stout 66, Crown College 58
WAVERLY, Iowa (November 16, 2013) - After dropping a season-opening overtime contest in the first game of the Wartburg College Buzz Levick Tournament, UW-Stout bounced back to the take the consolation game, 66-58, over Crown College Saturday afternoon.
The Blue Devils (1-1) trailed at halftime, 31-28, but made up the deficit as
Jimmy Whitehead (Sr, La Crosse) scored 10 of his 14 points in the second half.
Aaron Jenny (Sr, New London, Minn) led Stout with 16 points and
Alex Oman (Sr, Lake Elmo, Minn) contributed 13.
Crown's Bryce Williams led all players with 23 points.
Oman was named to the all-tournament team, averaging 16.5 points in the two games. He also had 12 rebounds, four assists, two blocked shots and four steals.
Stout will open their home season when they host Bethel University, Tuesday, Nov. 19 at approximately 7 p.m. The Blue Devil women host Marian University at 5 p.m.
