THIS WEEK'S GAMES: UW-Stout (7-8-1, 5-2-0 WIAC) earned the third seed in the WIAC Tournament with a pair of shutout wins last week and will now travel to UW-Platteville, Saturday, Nov. 2 to close out the regular season. With a win at Platteville (8-8-1, 3-3-1 WIAC), Stout would finish in a tie with UW-Oshkosh for second place, but Stout lost 1-0 earlier this season to the Titans. Stout will host a WIAC first round playoff game Tuesday, Nov. 5 at 6 p.m.

BLUE DEVILS LAST TIME OUT:Â
Emily Ferger's (Sr, Wauwatosa) header in the second overtime period lifted UW-Stout to a 1-0 win over UW-Stevens Point Saturday at Nelson Field. After a scoreless regulation and first overtime period, Stout (7-8-1, 5-2-0 WIAC) pressed the Pointers early in the second overtime period to draw a corner kick.
 Jenna Kizlik (So, Hammond) delivered the ball and Ferger punched the ball into the upper lefthand corner of the net for her second game-winning goal of the season. The goal came just shy of three minutes into the second overtime period.
 Lauren Kizlik (Fr, Hammond) had an opportunity to end the game in the first overtime period. Kizlik worked her way through the Pointer (4-11-2, 2-5-0 WIAC) defense, only to be turned back by goalkeeper Kristen Churkey, who finished the afternoon with 10 saves. Stout's

Story and StatsÂ
A LOOK AT STOUT: The Blue Devils have won five of the last six games, putting them in third place in the WIAC. If Stout beats Platteville they will finish in a tie for second place in the WIAC. The Blue Devils will be hosting a first round playoff game on Nov. 5.
 Alix Hyduke leads the team in goals with six and, combined with three assists, has a team-best 15 points.Â
Kelly Conn is currently second on the team in goals and points with three and nine respectively.Â
Lauren Kizlik has scored four goals while
Jenna Kizlik has two goals and two assist. With her game winner against Stevens Point,
Emily Ferger has upped her season total to three goals.Â
Kelsie Allen, Paige Meyer, Sarina Umlauf, Addy Maher, Whitney Solomon, and
Camille Fawcett each have one goal. The Blue Devils have spread their scoring out equally between halves as they have scored 11 goals in the first and 11 goals in the second half, along with two overtime goals.Â
Robbie Shelby and
Paige Meyer have split time in net. Shelby has 60 saves with a goals against average of 1.93 and a 3-4-1 record. Meyer has 51 saves with a GAA of 1.17. Hyduke's six goals put her currently tied for fifth in the conference. Hyduke leads the conference in game winning goals.Â

A LOOK AT UW-PLATTEVILLE:  Platteville is currently in fifth place in the WIAC. The Pioneers' 32 goals and 85 points rank second in the WIAC. They are third in the WIAC in assists per game (1.24) and goals allowed (19). The Pioneers have outscored their opponents 32 to 19 this season. Sarah Eck leads the Pioneers in goals scored with 5. Corey Daehling and Yamilex Jaramillo are tied for the team lead in assists(4) and points(12). |

AWARDS:Â UW-Stout goalkeeper
Paige Meyer notched her first two shutouts of the season and was selected as the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) and the Northwestern Mutual UW-Stout athlete of the week on Oct. 29.Â
Alix Hyduke was named the UW-Stout athlete of the week, Sept. 6, after scoring five goals over her first three games, a feat that had been accomplished only once in the annals of UW-Stout soccer.Â
Emily Ferger was named the UW-Stout Northwestern Mutual athlete of the week after scoring the game winning goal against UW-Eau Claire.
UW-STOUT COACH RYAN RAUFUS: Coach
Ryan Raufus (23-23-4) is in his third year as the head coach of the Blue Devils. Raufus played his college ball at Springfield College in Massachusetts and came to Stout after coaching at La Crosse Logan High School and La Crescent, Minn., High School.

Alix Hyduke (Duluth, Minn.) currently leads the 2013 team with six goals scored. In scoring her first five goals over the first three games of the season, Hyduke matched Alyssa Halverson as the only Blue Devil to accomplish that feat.
