MENOMONIE (October 9, 2013) - Emily Ferger (Sr, Wauwatosa) headed in a corner kick by Jenna Kizlik (So, Hammond) to give UW-Stout a 3-2 win over UW-Eau Claire Wednesday at Nelson Field.

Combined with some solid play by goalkeeper Robbie Shelby (Jr, La Crosse), who finished the night with eight saves, the Blue Devils earned their first win over Eau Claire since Oct. 12, 2004.

But more importantly, the Blue Devils (5-7-1) moved to 3-1 in WIAC play and will face first place UW-Whitewater Saturday, Oct. 12 at 2 p.m. at Nelson Field.
