EAU CLAIRE (October 12, 2013) - UW-Stout was swept in three sets in both matches in the final day of the UW-Eau Claire Sandy Schumacher Memorial Volleyball Invitational Saturday at McPhee Center.
The Blue Devils (13-11) dropped a trio of tight games to UM-Morris in the opener, 28-26, 26-24, 25-21, then lost to nationally ranked Augsburg College, 25-12, 25-19, 25-22, in the second match of the day.
Laura Reiter (So, Lino :Lakes, Minn) led Stout against Morris, getting 12 kills against the Cougars.
Morgan Denny (Jr, Luck),
Emily Crew (Jr, Maplewood, Minn) and Rachel Tshumperlin (So, Fairmont, Minn) each had six kills against Augsburg.
Stout will close out the home portion of their season when they host UW-Eau Claire, Wednesday, Oct. 16 at 7 p.m.
