WHITEWATER (September 28, 2012) - UW-Whitewater scored three unassisted goals on their way to a 3-0 win over UW-Stout Friday.
The Warhawks (7-3-0, 3-0-0 WIAC) scored early in the contest, then added a pair of goals in the second half to defeat Stout (3-5-2, 1-2-1 WIAC). Natalie Lechner scored in the 11th minute. Sarah Sedlar scored in the 67th minute and Jessica Allemang closed out the scoring in the 78th minutes.
Robbie Shelby (So, La Crosse) made five saves for the Blue Devils, while the Warhawks Jordan Meyers had eight saves.
Stout will host UW-River Falls, Wednesday, Oct. 3 at 7 p.m. at Nelson Field.
