Box Score Macalester 3, UW-Stout 0
ST. PAUL, Minn. (October 6, 2012) - In the first ever meeting between Macalester and UW-Stout, Macalester scored a late first half goal and added two late second half goals for the 3-0 win Saturday.
The Scots (6-5-1) outshot the Blue Devils (4-6-2) in the first half, 14-2, and outshot the Blue Devils, 17-6, for the game. Macalester scored in the 38th minute on a Georgia Cloepfil goal.
Macalester added two more goals later in the game. Bonnie Gale scored in the 73rd minute and Margaret Nemetz add the final goal in the 83rd minute.
Paige Meyer (Fr, Beldenville) had four saves for Stout. The Scots used two goalkeepers. Ellen Palmquist had one save in the first half and Rosie Glenn-Finer had two saves in the second half.
Stout will host Gustavus Adolphus, Wednesday, Oct. 10 at 7 p.m.
