ASHLAND (October 23, 2012) - UW-Stout matched their longest winning streak of the season at four when they defeated Northland College, 3-1, Tuesday.
The Blue Devils (15-11) took a 25-17, 25-13, 16-25, 25-10 decision as they were able to clear the bench. Stout held a 46-19 advantage in kills on the night.
Stout's
Molly Brion (Fr, Cameron) led all players with 13 kills with a hitting percentage of .205.
Laura Reiter (So, LIno Lake, Minn) and
Morgan Denny (So, Luck) each had seven kills.
Karley Wiensch (So, Chippewa Falls) finished with 38 assists and
Megan Shanahan had 23 digs.
Gabby Mastronardo (Fr, Germantown) put down three service aces.
Northland (9-18) were led by Erin Roembke with five kills.
Stout will conclude the regular season with a spin through the eastern part of the state, traveling to UW-Oshkosh, Friday, Oct. 26 and to UW-Whitewater, Saturday, Oct. 27.
