Stout surpassed by Warhawks in season finale

MENOMONIE (October 29, 2011) - UW-Stout wrapped up the 2011 season with a 3-0 home loss to UW-Whitewater Saturday at Johnson Fieldhouse.

The Warhawks defeated the Blue Devils, 25-14, 25-19, 25-16.

The Warhawks' Sophia Sanchez led all scorers with 13 kills, while Leanna Lillge added 10. For Stout, Morgan Denny (Fr, Luck) had eight kills, while Tori Sandstrom (Jr, Cary, Ill) had seven.

Whitewater needed the win to have a chance at winning the conference title.
