MENOMONIE (September 18, 2010) - UW-Platteville made quick work of UW-Stout, taking a one hour, five-minute match, 25-18, 25-11, 25-16, win.
Both teams had a chance to go deeper on their bench. Platteville played 12 players, while Stout also put 12 on the court.
The Pioneers' (7-1, 3-0) Melissa Hillebrand led all players with 10 kills. Ali Sikic had 35 assists.
For the Blue Devils (1-10, 0-3), freshman
Josie Dockstader (Northfield, Minn) had six kills.
Mallory White (Fr, St. Joseph, Minn) had 10 digs and 18 assists.
Stout will host UW-River Falls, Wednesday, Sept. 22 at 2 p.m. before heading to the UW-Platteville Tournament, Sept. 24-25.
