Blue Devils score first, fall to Whitewater

WHITEWATER (September 18, 2010) - UW-Stout drew first blood, but UW-Whitewater ran off five unanswered goals to down the Blue Devils, 5-1, Saturday.

Emily Stanke (So, Elk Grove Park, Ill) diverted a kick by Grace Salwasser (Jr, Cottage Grove, Minn) into the goal in the seventh minute of the game to give Stout their only lead of the game.

The Warhawks answered back two minutes later on a goal by Kelsey Finn, then tacked on two more in the first half and two more in the second stanza.

Stout will host Hamline University, Tuesday, Sept. 21 at 7 p.m.
