Blugolds go past Blue Devils

EAU CLAIRE (September 15, 2010) - Fifteenth-ranked UW-Eau Claire swept past UW-Stout, 3-0, Wednesday at McPhee Center.

The Blugolds (7-2, 1-0) took the decision over the Blue Devils (1-8, 0-1), 25-13, 25-20, 25-11. Only four Blue Devils managed to record a kill, with Steph Nichols (Sr, Greendale) leading Stout with five kills.

Elizabeth Anderson had 10 kills to lead all players. Two Blugold players recorded nine kills apiece.

Stout will host UW-LaCrosse, Friday, Sept. 17 at 7 p.m. and UW-Platteville, Saturday, Sept. 18 at noon
