Volleyball team drops two at Viterbo

Luther College 3, UW-Stout 0 | Viterbo University 3, UW-Stout 1

LA CROSSE (September 11, 2010) - UW-Stout dropped both contests in the final day at the Viterbo University Invitational.

The Blue Devils lost 3-0 (25-23, 25-13, 25-21) to Luther College to open the morning, then lost 3-1 to host Viterbo University (25-15, 16-25, 25-16, 25-11).

Hope Weilage (So, Marshall, Minn) had nine kills against Viterbo. Steph Nichols (Sr, Greenfield) was named to the all-tournament team.

Stout will open the WIAC season Wednesday, Sept. 15 when they travel to UW-Eau Claire.
