MINNEAPOLIS , Minn (October 5, 2010) - Augsburg College took a straight-set victory over UW-Stout 25-20, 25-22, 25-14 in a nonconference match Tuesday at Si Melby Hall.
Augsburg (12-10) jumped out to an early lead in each of the first three games, and were able to pull away from the Blue Devils (1-18).
As a team, the Auggies recorded 45 kills in the match, against 30 for the Blue Devils. Augsburg's Katie Christensen recorded a match-high 15 kills.

Kim Labat (Sr, Marshall, Minn.) recorded a match-high 15 digs.
Kate Mikutowski (So, Stillwater, Minn.) had eight kills, while
Hope Weilage (So, Marshall, Minn.) had six kills and three blocks.
Mallory White (Fr, St. Joseph, Minn.) recorded 24 assists and 13 digs.
Stout will head to Superior where they will face UW-Superior and Finlandia University in a pair of non-conference contests, Friday, Oct. 8.
