St. Norbert College 3, UW-Stout 1
GREEN BAY (October 29, 2010) -
Tom Lescovich (So, Clifton Park, NY) recorded 46 saves, but St. Norbert College went past UW-Stout, 3-1, Friday at Cornerstone Community Center.
The Green Knights (1-0-0, 1-0-0 NCHA) scored 12 seconds into the first period, then tacked on two goals in the third period for the win.
Stout (1-2-0, 0-1-0 NCHA) broke up the shutout with 11 seconds left in the contest when
Russ Whited (Fr, Indianapolis, Ind) got his first collegiate goal with assists by
Matt Morin (So, Brooklyn Park, Minn) and
Robert Carr (Sr, Roseau, Minn).
The two teams will meet again Saturday, Oct. 30, at 4 p.m.
