UW-Stout 3, Beloit College 1
BELOIT (October 23, 2010) -
Kate Mikutowski (So, Stillwater, Minn) and
Hope Weilage (So, Marshall, Minn) provided a one-two punch to lead UW-Stout past Beloit College, 3-1, Saturday.
Mikutowski tallied 11 kills, while Weilage backed her up with 10 kills, three solo blocks and three assisted blocks.
Kim Labat (Sr, Marshall, Minn) ground out 33 digs on the day.
The Blue Devils lost the first set, 25-15, then came back to take the final three, 25-20, 25-21, 25-21.
Stout will close out the season when they compete at the UW-River Falls Trick or Treat Invitational, Oct. 29-30.
