MENOMONIE (October 20, 2010) - St. Olaf scored two goals in the final 10 minutes of play and went on to a 3-1 win over UW-Stout.
The Oles (11-4-1) opened the scoring in the 22nd minute of the game on a goal by Amanda Leone, but the Blue Devils (6-9-1) came back when
Kaitlin Kalan (Sr, Owatonna, Minn) scored off an assist by
Grace Salwasser (Jr, Cottage Grove, Minn) in the 30th minute.
The next 50 minutes proved to be silent as far as scoring goes until the Oles' KC Beed scored at the 80 minute mark and Ellie Steiner added the clincher in the 83rd minute.
Stout will host UW-La Crosse, Saturday, Oct. 23 at 2 p.m., then travel to St. Norbert College, Sunday, Oct. 24.
