OSHKOSH (October 2, 2010) - Tenth ranked UW-Oshkosh defeated UW-Stout in straight sets, taking a 25-17. 25-10, 25-21 win Saturday at Kolf Center.
The Titans (15-2, 3-0) ran off a series of straight points in the first two games, then held off the Blue Devils (1-17, 0-6) in the final set.
Hope Weilage (So, Marshall, Minn) and
Kate Mikutowski (So, Stillwater, Minn) each had six kills to lead Stout.
Kim Labat (Sr, Marshall, Minn) had 20 digs for Stout.
Brittany Murawski had six kills for the Titans, who emptied their bench.
Stout will be at Augsburg College, Tuesday, Oct. 5. then head to Superior to play the Yellowjackets and Finlandia University in a pair of non-conference contests.
