UW-Stevens Point 3, UW-Stout 0
STEVENS POINT (October 2, 2010) - UW-Stout kept UW-Stevens Point to one goal in the first half, but the Pointers added a pair of goals in the second half to take a 3-0 win Saturday.
Angela Gallow scored 20 minutes into the first half, and Mary Jean Cornelius added two goals in the second half to record the Pointer (10-0, 5-0) win.
Amanda Matti (Fr, Shoreview, Minn) had seven saves for Stout (4-6, 0-3) while Liz Hunter had a pair of saves for the Pointers.
Stout will be at Bethel University Tuesday, Oct. 5, then return home Saturday, Oct. 9 to host UW-Platteville at 3 p.m.
