UW-Stout 3, St. Catherine 1
ST. PAUL, Minn (October 10, 2010) - UW-Stout scored twice in the second half to take a 3-1 win over at St. Catherine University Sunday.
Courtney Tideman (Jr, Sartell, Minn) headed in a corner kick by
Grace Salwasser (Jr, Cottage Grove, Minn) in the 59th minute to break a 1-1 tie.
Becky Glass (So, Eagan, Minn) scored in the 72nd minute, taking an assist by
Emily Stanke (So, Elk Grove Village, Ill) to wrap up the scoring.
Stout (6-6-1) opened the scoring in the game when Glass fed
Jesse Lankford (Fr, Cedar Grove, Iowa) in the 29th minutes. St. Catherine (6-6-1) tied the score on a goal by Kelsey Moll in the 42nd minute.
Whitney Fenne (Fr, Columbus, Minn) had five saves for the Blue Devils, while Kayla Clafton had two saves for St. Kates.
Stout will host UW-River Falls, Wednesday, Oct. 13 at 7 p.m.
