UW-Whitewater 3, UW-Stout 1
WHITEWATER (October 1, 2010) - UW-Stout did not go down to 11th ranked UW-Whitewater without a fight.
The Blue Devils lost the first two sets, but came back to win the third set in extra time before losing the match 3-1.
The Warhawks took the match, 25-14, 25-16, 26-28, 25-20.
Kate Mikutowski (So, Stillwater, Minn) returned to the Blue Devils' (1-16, 0-5) line-up for the first time since the opening weekend when she was injured. Mikutowski and
Steph Nichols (Sr, Greenfield) shared team honors with nine kills apiece.
The Warhawks (14-4, 4-0) were led by Caitlin Hogan with 14 kills and Sofia Sanchez with 13 kills.
Stout will be at UW-Oshkosh, Saturday, Oct. 2
