2009 NCAA Division III Indoor Track & Field Championships
MENOMONIE (March 9, 2009) - UW-Stout's Daniel Drewek (Fr, Athens) will make his first appearance at the NCAA Division III Indoor Track & Field Championships this weekend, competing in the pole vault.
Drewek, the 2009 WIAC indoor championship, qualified to the meet with a school record leap of 16-feet, 7.25-inches and is seeded third. Drewek qualified to the NCAA outdoor championships, but redshirted the indoor season due to an injury.
The meet will be hosted by Rose-Hulman Institute in Terre Haute, Ind., March 13-14. Drewek will compete Saturday, March 14.
