Live Stats vs. St. Catherine
SUPERIOR (October 17, 2009) -
Jessica Price (Jr, Woodbury, Minn) found the back of the net twice and UW-Stout went on to a much needed 3-0 win at UW-Superior Saturday.
After a string of four one goal losses, the Blue Devils (4-11-0, 3-4-0 WIAC) needed to get back into the win column and Superior (2-14-0, 0-7-0) provided the antidote.
All three goals were scored in the second half. Price scored in the 49th minute.
Andrea Greer (Jr, Woodbury, Minn) scored with three minutes left and Price tacked on another a minute later.
McKenna Missfeldt (Fr, Holcomb) made her first start of the year and combined with
Bridget LaVallee (Fr, St. Michael, Minn) to record the shutout. Missfeldt turned away three shots, while LaVallee rejected two.
Stout hosts the College of St. Catherine, Sunday, Oct. 18 at 4 p.m.
