LA CROSSE (September 27, 2008) - UW-Stout lost both games at the second day of the Viterbo Oktoberfest Invitational Saturday in La Crosse.
The Blue Devils (3-13) lost by identical 3-0 scores to Mount Mercy College and Ashford College.
Mount Mercy defeated Stout, 25-21, 25-20, 25-23, with Jenna Swanson (Jr, Hayfield, Minn) recordng a team-high eight kills. Swanson recorded a team-high 10 kills in a 25-14, 25-21, 25-18 loss to Ashford College.
Steph Nichols (So, Greendale) was named to the all-tournament team.
Stout will be at Northwestern College, Tuesday, Sept. 30, then will be at UW-Stevens Point, Saturday, Oct. 4.
