Stout falls to second straight ranked team

WHITEWATER  (September 20, 2008) - UW-Stout faced their second nationally ranked team in as many days and dropped a 3-0 decision at UW-Whitewater, Saturday.

The Warhawks, ranked 12th in the latest AVCA Division III poll, defeated Stout, 25-19, 25-7, 25-17 to drop Stout to 2-10 overall, 0-2 in the WIAC.

Jenna Swanson (Jr, Hayfield, Minn) led Stout with six kills. The Warhawks got 12 kills from Liz Benzchawel and 10 kills from Sofia Sanchez. The Warhawks had 14 block assists to six for Stout.

Stout will be at the Viterbo Tournament, Sept. 26-27.
