STEVENS POINT (September 13, 2008) - UW-Stevens Point scored six goals on 34 shots, while UW-Stout scored no goals on six shots in a disappointing loss to open up WIAC play.
Stevens Point's Amanda Prawat scored the Pointers' first three goals, completing her hat trick 55 minutes into the game. Prawat also added an assist later in the game, followed by two more goals by Vicki Bieschke.
Jessica Price (So, Woodbury, Minn.) took four shots for the Blue Devils and Taylor Randle (Fr, Shoreview, Minn.) recorded 13 saves in 90 minutes in the goal.
Stout will return to action Wednesday, Sept. 17, when they host UW-River Falls at 7 p.m. at Nelson Field
