PELLA, Iowa (October 24, 2008) - UW-Stout took Central College to four sets, but eventually lost the match as the Blue Devils lost both matches in the first day of the Central College Invitational Friday.
Stout lost to the host Dutch, 25-20, 25-16, 21-25, 25-18, and earlier in the day lost to Millikin University, 25-21, 25-17, 25-18.
Against Central, Jenna Swanson (Jr, Hayfield, Minn) led Stout (4-20) with 10 kills. Alicia Mizer (Jr, Barron) had 20 digs.
Stout will play Grinnell College and Augustana College, Saturday, Oct. 25 on the final day of the Invitational.
