UW-Whitewater 2, UW-Stout 1
WHITEWATER (October 18, 2008) - UW-Stout carried a 1-0 lead into the second half, but could not hold on as UW-Whitewater captured a 2-1 win over the Blue Devils Saturday.
Jessica Price (So, Woodbury, Minn) scored unassisted in the 25th minute to open the scoring, but the Warhawks (5-8-3, 3-3-2) answered back with two second period goals. Emily Gerber scored only three minutes after intermission and Mary Donohoo got the eventual game winner in the 69th minute.
Taylor Randle (Fr, Shoreview, Minn) recorded 11 saves for the Blue Devils (5-8-3, 3-3-2), while Mary Scanlin had five saves for the Warhawks.
Stout will host St. Benedict, Sunday, Oct. 19 at 3 p.m.
