UW-Eau Claire 3, UW-Stout 0
EAU CLAIRE (October 15, 2008) - After getting doubled and tripled in the first two sets, UW-Stout put up a fight in the third set, but still fell at UW-Eau Claire, 3-0, Wednesday at McPhee Center.
The Blugolds (13-9, 5-0) took the match, 25-12, 25-7, 25-21.
Stout (4-16, 1-4) was led by Maggie Meixl (Sr, Mankato, Minn) with nine kills. Meixl also had two solo blocks. The Blugolds got 11 kills from Abby Freiborg.
Stout will host UW-Platteville, Friday, Oct. 17 at 7 p.m., UW-La Crosse, Saturday, Oct. 18 at noon and UW-River Falls, Wednesday, Oct. 22 at 7 p.m.
