Bryce Supri took over the reins of the UW-Stout women's tennis program in June, 2018 and begins his fifth year with the 2022-23 season.
The 2020-21 Blue Devil finished with the most wins in a single season since the 2016-17 season. Lauren Couves finished fourth at the WIAC Championship at No. 1 singles. Stout won four of their final five matches. Â Â
Supri, a UW-Stout graduate, has been the Menomonie High School boys head tennis coach for nine seasons after two years as an assistant and has been an assistant coach for the Menomonie High School girls team for the last six seasons.
The Menomonie native has also been a United States Tennis Association (USTA) head coach for the Menomonie Parks and Recreation Department and has been a tennis instructor for the Parks and Rec Department, starting the Little Netter program for elementary age players.
Supri has coached the Menomonie boys team from near the bottom of the competitive Big Rivers Conference to one of the top competitive programs in the league. He has coached seven individuals to the WIAA individual state tournament. His most successful overall season was 2017 when the team posted a 19-3 record.
Supri, who has also coached several high school levels of basketball at Menomonie High School, will continue to coach the MHS boys tennis team and will continue to assist with the girls tennis team.
