Sidney Hoverman averaged 3.87 kills and collected 58 total kills across five matches as UW-Stout went 4-1 on the week. Hoverman led Stout in all five matches on the attack and twice recorded 15 kills in a match, against Hamline and against Martin Luther College. Hoverman finished the week with 11 service aces and three solo blocks and two block assists. The Blue Devils defeated Hamline, 3-0, Sept. 7, Bethany Lutheran, 3-0, Sept. 9, Martin Luther College, 3-0, Sept. 10 and Central College, Sept. 10. Stout’s only loss was a 3-0 defeat St. Catherine.
