This Menomonie native twice won all-conference honors in football and basketball, a rare feat. Was the most valuable player two successive years in basketball. Captained the 1949-50 basketball squad. Taught industrial arts and coached basketball and football for five years before joining the 3M Co. in St. Paul. Now serves as a packaging engineer supervisor.
