University of Wisconsin-Stout Athletics

An outstanding athlete who came to Stout after earning all-state honors in football at D.C. Everest High School, he was awarded football letters in each of his four years as a Blue Devil. Rare athletic skills allowed him to play both in the offensive line and on defense as a linebacker. A member of the 1965 championship team, he received all-district and All-American honors in his junior and senior years.
