Katie Jacobson twice earned cross country All-American honors and three times earned track All-American honors. In 1998, Jacobson was named the USTCA Midwest Athlete of the Year, was the WIAC scholar-athlete, a first team academic All-America selection, won WIAC championships in the indoor 1500- and 800-meter runs and in the outdoor 1500-meter run. At time of induction, she holds four indoor and two outdoor track records. In cross country, Jacobson holds the school 5-kilometer record.
