University of Wisconsin-Stout Athletics

This four-year letter winner captained the swimming squad during the 1974 and 1975 seasons. A national qualifier in each of his four years at Stout, he won All-America honors twice in the relay and 100-year freestyle events. He won the conference freestyle championships in 1975, an accomplishment he lists among his biggest thrills.
