As a freshman, Luke achieved All-America honors in the 100-yard butterfly and 100-yard backstroke. She was a WWIAC champion in the 200-individual medley, 100-backstroke, 500 freestyle, and a member of the 200 medley relay team. A member of the all-WWIAC swimming team in 1976-77, she was voted Stout's MVP in 1976-77, 1977-78, and 1979-80 and co-captained in 1977-78. Luke held 11 individual records and five relay team records upon graduation. She worked 10 years for JC Penney, receiving their All-Star award in 1987, '88 and '89. She now devotes full time to her family.
