University of Wisconsin-Stout Athletics

Lettered four years in basketball, four in baseball and one in football. All-conference in basketball in 1935, 1936, 1939 and 1940 and a team captain in 1939 and 1940. In baseball, the number one starting pitcher for four years, playing outfield when not pitching. Served as an assistant basketball coach, assistant baseball coach and head baseball coach. After graduation, he was on several semi-pro basketball and baseball teams and played professional baseball for two years with the Eau Claire Bears.
